We spent the weekend down at my parents house on the coast. It was a weekend filled with fun and extremely yummy food. I love going home! One of the highlights, besides seeing the folks, was going to the aquarium. My Mom was able to go with us, but my Dad was not. He had volunteered to clean a cemetery. We were sad Grandpa couldn't come with us, but he had a good excuse! So off to the aquarium we went. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun, especially Everson. He was a little timid at first, thinking he was going to get wet if he touched the glass on the tanks. Once Todd explained and showed him he wouldn't get wet, he was touching and pointing to everything. He especially loved the sharks and fish in the underwater tunnels.
Everson had so much fun playing with Lola and Grandpa. Canon also enjoyed the visit. When it was time to leave and go home, he would say, "Lola, Grandpa, please." It was so sad when we told him that they had to stay at their house and we were going back to ours. He kept asking for Lola and Grandpa and saying please so sweetly with sadness in his voice. It broke our hearts, and we wanted to turn around and go back, but knew we had to get home. So we promised him we would call Lola and Grandpa when we got home and that they would come up and visit in a couple weeks. Thanks for a great weekend Lola and Grandpa!

There was a scuba diver cleaning the glass of the underwater tunnels. Everson waved to him and he waved back and Everson stood there in amazement.

Everson loved that you could see the fish and sharks through the glass in the floor.

Looks like a great visit and you got to go to the aquarium to boot! I miss the aquarium - maybe we will get over there this summer. I miss the coast!
FUN FUN!! I have not been to the aquarium for years. I feel a road trip coming on!!!!
Oh, how I miss the Oregon coast! The California coast is great too but TOTALLY different. You're boys are growing like weeds.
