Best of buds

This was the cutest thing. The boys were so good today and asked in the most polite way if they could watch a show. So up on the couch they got. Usually they sit on their own cushion but today they were feeling especially nice to each other and sat right next to each other. I turned on the show and their giggling began. It was so fun to watch them both laugh at the same time and turn to each other and laugh even harder. They were definitely best buds today!

Snow in March?

The calender says it is suppose to be Spring already but I guess the weather has a different plan. We didn't mind because it gave us something fun to do this morning before the snow all melted away. All three boys liked being outside playing in the snow, especially the throwing snowballs at Mom part. Bridger just sat and watched and didn't know what to think. He didn't want to touch the snow, but enjoyed talking to the snowman. Everson and Canon loved throwing snowballs and making a snowman. It was fun while it lasted!

Everson - his eyes are pretty sensitive to the sun so it was hard to get a picture of him with them open.
Canon - getting ready to throw a snowball at the photographer (Mom)
Bridger - he sat happily in the lawn chair watching me and his brothers.

Everson was very excited to complete the snowman. It was his idea to add hair, which I thought was a great one.
Canon was already inside getting warmed back up by this point but Everson wanted a picture with the snowman and Bridger.
Our happy boys! Bridger looks less then thrilled, but I promise he was having a good time!

That's gonna leave a mark!

While Todd was playing basketball he got a should to the chin, which made him bite his tongue pretty hard. He said it hurt and it was bleeding but he didn't think much of it. Then he looked in the mirror and saw this (see picture below). Todd had bit his tongue so hard that he split it and now has a nubbin just hanging there. We were told by a very reliable source, Dr. Atack, that it most likely will not heal back together, so unless Todd wants it dangling there forever, he will have to get it numbed up and snipped off. Ouch!

Jedi Training

Once Bridger showed interest in wanting to be a Jedi the boys took it upon themselves to make Bridger their Padwan (Jedi Apprentice).

Canon, showing Bridger how to fight like a Jedi.
Everson underestimated Bridger's Jedi skills and found himself at the mercy of his baby brother. Don't worry, Everson was a smart thinker and used the force to get away and retrieve his lightsaber.
