Smoothies

Todd made us all smoothies for dessert. He did a great job! Everson didn't want to drink his smoothie until his Daddy was sitting next to him on the floor. He sure does love his Daddy!

Visitors!

We had a couple of visitors stop by last night. Canon and Everson, especially Everson, had so much fun with Cali and Tessa. Everson said he wants them to come over and play again!

ABC's

This is our best attempt to get Everson on camera singing his ABC's. We are trying to get him to sing all the songs he knows on camera. We recorded this a while ago, I think we will have to hide the camera somewhere so he can't see it.

Water fun and Gaming!

Since Canon missed out on all the water fun yesterday, we decided to play in the pool when he was awake so he can enjoy the nice refreshing water. You can't really tell by his faces in the pictures, but when the camera was not on him he was having a blast jumping and splashing. Of course Everson thought he was being such a big help when he would take a cup of water and splash it in Canon's face.

I don't want everyone to think that Todd plays XBOX all the time, because he does not. Today he jumped on for a little bit because his friend, who would like to remain anonymous, was playing online. Since they rarely play together anymore, Todd jumped at the opportunity to shoot and kill bad guy's with Brian by his side (in the game of course). Canon was very intent on watching his Daddy game, so I wheeled his highchair next to Todd and handed him a controller. He had no idea what it was for but he had a lot of fun playing with the controller and watching his Daddy pulverize people on the TV.

We had fun making our slide and pool into Everson's very own water slide. He had so much fun going down the slide and splashing into the water. We love summer!

Good Morning!

This is what I saw when I walked into Everson's room this morning to get him out of bed. He was so excited about how he lined up his friends. When I walked in the room he said, "Look Mommy!" What a great thing to see first thing in the morning.

Independence Day!

So, there were way too many pictures taken this week that I could not pick and choose just a few to upload with this post. Thank you collages!

We went swimming almost every day this week. The weather was nice and HOT, so the pool was definitely a necessity, especially for those of us who do not have A/C.

Family BBQ with yummy food (especially Kendra's PASTA salad. There is just something about whip cream, pineapple, marshmallows, mandarine oranges, and the little balls of pasta that I absolutely love) and good company!

July 4th was a day full of activities. We got up and did the Fun Walk around our neighborhood. From there we went up to the Free breakfast, put on by our Ward for anyone who wants to come. After that we headed over to the Charlais nieghborhood 4th of July celebration. We left there and went back to our place to watch our neighborhood parade. After that Todd took Everson to watch BJ the clown at our rec center while I stayed at home and napped with Canon. When they got back it was nap time for Everson. Everson woke up and we headed over to Tracy and Greg's for our family BBQ. Then our big group headed up to the green belt in our neighborhood to play around until the fireworks show started.

Todd's brother, Bill, and his family (Kendra, Will and Kayla) come into town every year, for a week over the 4th of July. We always love seeing them and getting to spend time with them. We love you guy's!
