Happy 4th of July

Such a fun day/night it was!  We watched a parade, had a family BBQ, then up to the green space we went to visit with all the friends and family, and eat some yummy treats!  The boys were so great and loved the fireworks!

King of the hill

We are leveling our backyard which means lots and lots of dirt.  We had somewhere between 30-36 yards (three dump trucks full) of dirt for the job.  The boys absolutely loved having a huge dirt hill to dig in, climb up and slide down.

Bridger loves to try and keep up with his older brothers.  So he took it upon himself to climb the giant hill.  I didn't think he was going to make it, but with some slipping and his determination to get up to his brothers he did it!

We are happy to say the dirt hill is no longer there, but smoothed out evenly waiting for grass seed!

Everson's 5th birthday part 2

My parents weren't able to make it to Everson's birthday party on June 18th so we met them down in Salem at my sisters house a week later.  My Aunt Margie made him a cute cake again!  Everson thinks the T-Rex bank that was custom made just for him is pretty cool!

Soccer Camp

Everson loved soccer camp.  He is taking after his Daddy when it comes to soccer skills.

Last day of soccer camp.  All the kids got t-shirts, an evaluation sheet and a soccer ball.

Soccer and 5th Birthday

Eversons started a week long British soccer camp today.  He was very timid and cried at first, but his coach, Coach Matt, was wonderful!  By the end of the day he was having so much fun, especially with his little buddy, Blake!

It was a busy day for Everson.  First, he had soccer camp and then his birthday!  He requested Incredible Hulk cupcakes!  He said he only wanted to invite two friends to his birthday, Charlotte and Payton.  The was totally fine by me!  I asked him way he wanted to just invite those two girls, and Everson's response was, "because I like to wrestle them."  Thank goodness those two girls are good sports and put up a good wrestling match for him.  Our little boy is 5!

Father's Day

My boys are so blessed to have the best Dad ever!  They gave him a picture of the three of them to put on his desk at work!

Benihana

Our June birthday Benihana group!  The food was delicious as always and we had a great group of friends to enjoy it with.

One of the cooks plays the flute and came to our table to play a special number for us!

Timbers

One of Todd's customers gave him tickets to a Timbers party.  So he and Everson went on a special date!  You get free hot dogs, drinks, you can meet the players, and there are other fun things like getting balloon things made.  Everson choose a sword and hat of course.  It was fun for just the two of them to get to hang out and do something fun!

Perfect day at the coast

It was the most perfect weather at the beach.  Just enough wind to fly kites but not too much that sand gets blown into your eyes.  The kids had fun picking up seashells, getting dirty, flying kites, digging in the sand, and running around.

After the beach we headed to the playground at the elementary school.  Slides were very popular with both the kids and adults!  Everyone had fun and the kids were able to get out some of their unlimited energy.

Here are Todd and Scott showing how the opposite seesaw works!

Last Day of Preschool

Everson said he was sad for his last day of Preschool.  He loves school and loves his teachers.  I told him to not worry because Canon will be going to that same Preschool in the fall and he would be able to see his teachers when we pick Canon up from school.  That made him feel better!

Sadly this is the only picture I got of Everson and his teachers.  Oh well, at least it is something.

One warm day

We finally got a warm enough day to go outside and play with some water.  The boys stayed outside for hours.  Give them a hose, measuring cups, and mixing bowls and they can keep busy for a while.

Everson loved dumping the water on himself.

Canon just loved dumping the water out on the deck.  We went through a lot of water!

Bridger always loves being outside.  Getting to play in water is a bonus.
